These Terms supplement Body Byte's main Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. "The Promise" is a program offered by Body Byte, Inc. ("Body Byte") that uses our AI to help you avoid the plateau.

1. Eligibility requirements

• › Have an active, paid Body Byte subscription.
• › Be at least 18 years old and a resident of a country where Body Byte subscriptions are available.
• › Enroll via the in-app prompt. Your 90-day program period begins on your enrollment date.
• › Have at least 10 pounds (≈4.5 kg) to lose to reach your stated goal weight, as recorded in your profile.
• › Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any new diet or fitness program. Body Byte provides informational support and is not a substitute for professional medical advice.

2. Your commitment: the Adherence Requirement

To qualify for the guarantee, over the 90-day program period you must:

• › Consistent logging: log your meals (photo, text, or voice) and your weight at least five (5) days per week, on average.
• › Follow AI "Focus Tasks": mark at least 80% of your weekly, personalized Focus Tasks as completed over the 90-day period. These are our primary mechanism for helping you avoid plateaus.
• › Accurate data: ensure all logged data, including weight and meals, is accurate.

3. Defining a "Weight Plateau"

A "Weight Plateau" is a period of 14 or more consecutive days where your weight, measured by a 7-day rolling average calculated by the app, does not decrease. A claim can only be made for a plateau that begins after the first 21 days of the program and continues for at least 14 consecutive days, despite your adherence to the program requirements.

4. The guarantee payout

If you met the Adherence Requirement for the 90-day period and experienced a qualifying Weight Plateau, you are eligible for:

• › Full refund of the subscription fees corresponding to the 90-day program period, issued to your original payment method within 10–15 business days after approval.
• › Free Lifetime Premium Membership — for your personal use, non-transferable, no cash value, access to all premium features for the life of the service.

5. How to make a claim

Submit your claim within 15 days of the end of your 90-day program period: in the app, go to Settings → Help & Support → "Plateau Prevention Promise Claim." The app reviews your logging history, your Focus-Task completion, and your weight-trend data, and auto-approves if eligible. Body Byte may audit and deny any claim it determines, in its reasonable judgment, to be fraudulent, inaccurate, or in violation of these Terms.

6. Disclaimers & limitations

• › Not a medical service: Body Byte is a health-and-wellness technology platform, not a medical organization, and does not provide medical advice. Your health is your responsibility.
• › Individual results vary: weight and health journeys are complex and depend on many factors beyond the app — genetics, pre-existing conditions, and lifestyle among them.
• › Program modifications: Body Byte may modify, suspend, or terminate this program at any time; changes won't affect users already enrolled and actively participating in their 90-day period.
